Vestige of the Vox Populi #32

Vestige of the Vox Populi #32

By Sean Stubblefield

A stop motion animated short film, created by Mark Osborne in 1998, that I first saw when it appeared in the first episode of the now-defunct SCIFI channel short film showcase series called Exposure. This one immediately impressed me, leaving a long-lingering strong and positive impression. It has won several awards and much acclaim, both online and off.

Full of symbolism and substance, the story is a powerfully inspirational caveat about losing our heart and soul in the pursuit of our dreams or success , and not letting the process of making a living or a life crush our spirits.

We must be vigilant against becoming the thing we hate, and wary of the danger of selling out in order to buy your creative passion.
