Vestige of the Vox Populi # 64

Vestige of the Vox Populi # 64

By Sean Stubblefield

Remember Winnie the Pooh and The Hundred Acre Wood?

I love those characters and that world created by Milne; with an uncorrupted innocence and a vibrant spirit of youth.

But I also love re-imaginings in retellings of stories.

For example, Sci-Fi Channel is doing their Wizard of OZ reinterpreted mini-series this weekend. Plus the Battlestar Galactica remake. And the way Romeo and Juliet was reconceptualized as a modernized drama featuring DiCaprio and Danes. And sorta how Adam West portrayed a campy Batman. We know that show does not depict the genuine Batman of the comics, but suppose... what if?

What if... Winnie the Pooh was re-formatted as a live action representation using people in a contemporary setting?

It might look something like this:

I'd totally watch that!
