Chase von, Wakes, Rambling Thoughts, Happy Holidays!
The following are four stories or writings that I didn't write that, however, are things I often think about...
(Those who have really looked at my MySpace page have seen these.)
I also think about how grateful I am for certain people that have blessed my life whether knowingly or unknowingly and continue to do so by my just having learned of them...
When I am down, they can truly lift my spirits by my just thinking on some of the wonderful things that they are...
In no particular order and certainly not all of them...
In fact, I think I will approach that a different way, those people should certainly know who they are already, and so as not to slight someone by leaving out a name....
I thank you more than you will ever know...
One of the other things I have learned is that we are most human, when we are more servant-minded... And that means with a genuine concern for pleasing but not a silly or self-degrading servitude...
Often people will tell people about others that are good just because, but for me it's ingrained. And in my line of thinking, if others develop that, we can all consciously increase the amount of good feelings we receive as feed back:)
I guess one could say that if you see a light in someone and it inspires you, then sharing that light with others is another way of looking at it...
(You're SERVING by doing that, although you may not know it, because it just genuinely feels good to tell others of people you find remarkable.)
A simple example of that is this, I know Willard Barth is an exceptional human being and an inspiration to all who learn of him. Therefore, when I tell others about him, that is my way of sharing a light with the world and what many don't get is also sharing...
A LIGHT IN THIS WORLD...
(And this world needs all the light it can get mind you.)
And one never knows what will happen when someone views a light...
And that's just an example... And a damn good one:) Therefore, what I would like to share in addition to these stories and writings is simply this...
I tell people about The Artist C, Alice Marie, Ed Roberts, Dozie, Alina, Kimberly Prendez and Kim Kline and Rachael Bell, Willard Barth, Chrissy K. McVay and the Amazing Judyth Piazza and Kalico Jones, and Aberjhani, Bryant McGill and so very many others because I believe I'm a realist.
And being real means, so many people think it's hard to shine a light or find it within themselves to brighten another's day... After all, they have problems of their own...
But I get a kick out of being agreed with:)
And if I am having a bad day, out the blue, someone will message me and say WOW, ALINA has a beautiful voice! Thanks for telling me about her!
And I feel good:)
And these same people are surprised, because they think I am so very busy telling people about these "Lights" or writing or what have you, when they hear back from me, but what I want them to know...
Is when I feel good,
It raises my vibrations
And when my vibrations rise
I am open to more good things coming my way:)
And it's a win across the board:)
Note: I've never communicated with this person; check her out any way...
Hear me now, believe me later, she is incredible...
And thank you JT for sharing her with me:)
When someone that doesn't know, hears Rachael Bell, and they come back and let me know, or a Dozie or a Kim Kline or Alice Marie and they come back and let me know... And they are truly happy....
It makes me happy:)
And not to sound cheap, but it cost me nothing but sharing a few words that eventually end up making someone else's day brighter...
When someone who doesn't know learns of Bryant McGill or Aberjhani and is inspired...
What did it cost me?
What are the benefits?
Having my mother nodding in agreement as she listens to Del MarBrook take the complicated and, as is his gift, make it simple to understand much as a huge picture makes me feel so great about sharing him because she will tell others as well.
I close with this...
You don't have to have anything good to do a good thing for someone else. All you have to do is know a good thing, or of someone who is exceptionally good, and share that knowledge that you know, with others...
And whether the person that is the LIGHT in this scenario knows it or not, isn't the point...
A person is going to read about Judyth Piazza and get inspired...
(Judyth might not know they even know who she is, but her story might be one that sets another on a path towards their dreams, all because you mentioned it to them)...
So, never underestimate the power of words, friends...
And when we tell others about other people who are remarkable...
And they are blessed and inspired and enlightened or truly grateful...
You've passed something on that one cannot imagine or fathom how it will affect another's life...
Another quick note: A few years ago my mother gave me Joel Osteens book, Your Best Life Now. Admittedly it gathered dust for, yes, years; but, I just recently pulled it out and read it.
I completed it yesterday. Today I find that one of the names of the people who bought this item, also bought on Amazon and is none other than Joel Osteen's very same book on a list with my book...
(If my mother hadn't bought me the book, and told me about him, it's unlikely that I would even consider that an amazing thing, or that I would really even know who he is. And, to me, he is a truly remarkable and inspirational man!")
So pass on good people, you never know what an impact it will have or they will have on a life:)
Blessings again to all and Happy Holidays:)
Now for me, back to trying to sleep:)
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, which most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God and your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that
other people won't feel unsure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God
that is within us.
It is not in some of us;
It is in everyone.
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
Give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

~Stealing is a Sin~
If a person steals from you
Out of greed
The sin is theirs
If a person steals from you
Out of need
The sin is yours
Because you made them

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the end, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway."
"The Wise Woman's Stone"
A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains
found a precious stone in a stream. The next day
she met another traveler who was hungry, and the
wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The
hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked
the woman to give it to him. She did so without
hesitation. The traveler left, rejoicing in his
good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to
give him security for a lifetime. But a few days
later he came back to return the stone to the wise
"I've been thinking," he said, "I know how valuable
the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that
you can give me something even more precious. Give
me what you have within you that enabled you to
give me the stone."
