New Batch Of Risque Miley Cyrus Pics Hits The Internet
Miley Cyrus is a 15-year-old actress, singer, songwriter and marketing cash cow. It`s estimated than in a couple of years Miley will be a billionaire: Little girls will buy any product associated with her.
Miley is best known for starring as Miley Stewart, "Hanna Montana" on the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana."
As Miley Stewart the budding actress is the epitome of fresh scrubbed innocence. Parents can park their little ones in front of the TV when "Hannah Montana" is on with the assurance that they won`t be exposed to anything even remotely tawdry.
But in real life Miley is a typical teen, which means she is exposed to images in the media that portray women and young girls as sexual objects. The media is fascinated with young starlets and pop divas who reach the top of their profession by flashing their nether regions and engaging in all types of illegal and immoral behavior.
That`s why I`m not surprised that every month, just like clockwork, new risque images of Miley Cyrus surface on the Internet.
If Miley`s father, Billy Ray Cyrus were a responsible parent, he would take Miley`s web cam and cell phone cam away from her. It`s not a Peeping Tom weirdo who is taking these racy pics of Miley -- it`s her and her friends who are taking sexy pics of each other. But if Billy Ray were a good parent he would not have given Vanity Fair magazine permission to take semi-nude photographs of his daughter.
It`s become a rite of passage, not just for bimbo celebrities, but for all young girls to post nude/risque images of themselves on the Internet. Our daughters are buying into the media-created illusion that the worth of a female is defined by the attractiveness of her body parts.
When Miley makes the news because of a new batch of images showing her wearing a wet-T-shirt or cavorting in panties and a bra, parents should take the opportunity to teach their daughters the importance of self-respect and having a good self-image.
Parents should tell their daughters, time after time again, that it`s their innate goodness, intelligence and good character that makes them important human beings. We must warn them that posing in the nude makes men disregard their intelligence and character, and see them only as sexual objects ripe for exploitation.
A celebrity bimbo can jumpstart her career by releasing nude images, but if an average young woman does the same thing, it might destroy her career. Many companies now google prospective employees, and if they find anything sleazy about an applicant they won`t hire her.
I`m afraid that if Miley`s parents don`t put their foot down, soon we will see sexually explicit images, and perhaps even a sex tape of Miley, on the Internet.
