Go Now: Valentine's Day

Go Now: Valentine's Day

By Garrett Godwin

This is Garrett Godwin, and it is time to Go Now, where on this special edition is the Season of Love-- because it is Valentine`s Day!

  • Available on DVD is the complete series of Moonlight. From Joel Silver and Ron Koslow, the series follows the cases of vampire detective Mick St. John (Alex O`Loughlin) and his star-crossed romance with mortal reporter Beth Turner (Sophia Myles). Moonlight has been compared with Angel, in which both involved the premise of "a vampire with a soul" working as a private investigator in Los Angeles. However, the series is more in tune with Beauty & The Beast, another romantic-fantasy cult favorite created by Koslow that also aired on CBS from 1987-90. Despite a strong devoted following and massive fan campaigning, Moonlight was cancelled last spring after one season. Now, you can relive the story on DVD with all 16 episodes that includes commentary from O`Loughlin, as well as getting another chance of seeing it on the SCIFI Channel every Friday night. Enter the Moonlight now on DVD.

  • Catherine Hickland has known a thing or two about having a broken heart, and she shares it in her book The 30-Day Heartbreak Cure. A veteran of stage and screen, she is also an author, a speaker and humanitarian-- a woman of many talents. Catherine, best known as the deranged, yet delicious, Lindsay Rappaport on ABC`s One Life to Live, offers readers tips on the best ways to heal your emotional wounds after a break-up with your significant other and/or spouse. Catherine, who turns 52 on Wednesday, will be at a book signing this Friday night at 7pm at Barnes & Noble in Staten Island, New York; for more on this, go to her website. The 30-Day Heartbreak Cure is available on Amazon. Enterpreuner of Cat Cosmetics (
