Madonna Just Can't Stay On A Horse

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Madonna is under the care of doctors after falling off a horse over the weekend - an accident she is blaming on the paparazzi.

A representative for the superstar said Madonna suffered `minor injuries` after she fell while horseback riding in the Hamptons, a playground for the rich and famous on the eastern end of Long Island, N.Y.

`The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends,` Liz Rosenberg said in a statement Saturday evening." The Associated Press

Celebrities pay their public relations gurus untold thousands of dollars to convince the great unwashed that they are just like the rest of us.

Bull crap! In these hard economic times very few of us can afford to buy a horse or event rent a horse for an afternoon. When we ride a horse an entourage of paparazzi doesn`t follow us chronicling every second of our adventure. And if we we`re thrown from a horse we don`t have a public relations flack to explain that it was all the fault of the photographers.

This is not the first time that the ageing pop star has fallen from a horse. In 2005 Madonna was thrown from a horse in England, cracking three ribs and breaking her collarbone.

Either Madonna is very clumsy or horses (like most people) can`t stand her.
