Miss California's Granny Blasts Perez Hilton

Miss California, Carrie Prejean, has come under withering attack for her anti-gay marriage statement at the Miss USA pageant, but her 89-year-old granny has her back.

"Jeanette Coppola, speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com by telephone, came out swinging against Carrie`s critics and in a statement that shows she`s clearly not from an era of tolerance, she said:`I never knew there were so many gays out there!`

But grandma didn`t stop there. She had some choice words for blogger Perez Hilton, whose question about gay marriage opened the door to the controversy.

`I don`t know why that gay guy Perez was even judging a contest with a bunch of girls. That doesn`t make any sense. He should be judging a Chippendale`s contest,` Jeanette told RadarOnline.com." RadarOnline.Com

Evidently intolerance and homophobia runs in Miss California`s family. I hope that one day Prejean will be able to overcome her Neanderthal upbringing and embrace inclusivity and diversity.

I have news for dear old grandma, homosexuals are everywhere, I`m sure there`s even a few who live in her trailer park.

Granny is wrong, it makes perfect sense for the flamboyant Hilton to judge a beauty pageant. Only an individual who appreciates camp could endure serving as a judge in a beauty pageant.

Granny may be 89-years-old, but the old biddy is pretty hip if she`s familiar with Chippendales and Perez Hilton. Even many young people don`t know the controversial gossip columnist Perez Hilton from Paris Hilton.

I don`t want to ruin grandma`s erotic fantasies, but I would bet that some of those Chippendale dancers are as gay as Perez Hilton.
