Carrie Prejean's Fate May Be Decided Monday

Carrie Prejean's Fate May Be Decided Monday

By Robert Paul Reyes

"The Miss California USA pageant says its co-directors plan to address whether current title holder Carrie Prejean will hold onto her crown amid allegations of contract violations.

Keith Lewis said Friday that he and fellow co-director Shanna Moakler will make their case public Monday. He says they and Prejean`s representatives are close to a resolution.

The state pageant is investigating whether the 21-year-old old violated her contract by making public appearances with groups opposed to same-sex marriage and by failing to reveal that she had posed in her underwear as a teenager."

Usually at this time of the year all the entertainment buzz is about who will win the American Idol competition? Adam Lambert is clearly the most talented and exciting contestant, but is he too metrosexual to walk away with the crown?

But this year Miss California Carrie Prejean is stealing the thunder from American Idol. Will Prejean be stripped of her crown? Will more nude pics of the beauty queen surface online? Will Miss California make commercials stating her views on opposite marriage? Will she accept the $1M offer to star in a porn video? Will she and Perez Hilton hug and makeup on Oprah?

The American Idol competition may have a couple more weeks to reach its climax, but we may know on Monday if Prejean will be stripped of her crown.

Miss USA contest owner Donald Trump will make the decision on whether to disqualify the controversial beauty queen. Prejean is lucky Perez Hilton isn`t going to decide her fate; The Donald will do whatever is in the best interests of his bank accounts.

To avoid any future controversies all the beauty queen contestants should be asked the same question: Do you believe in world peace?
