"Queen was impressed with the American Idol runner up and may invite him to fill the missing front man spot.
Though he didn`t receive enough votes to be crowned "American Idol" during last week`s finale, Adam Lambert may still be headed for the big time. According to Reuters, Queen is looking for a new front man and the Idol contestant with a flair for the dramatic could be the right fit.
Lambert performed with the rock band during American Idol`s Season 8 finale and apparently struck a chord with band members." Monica Burton
Queen recently parted ways with front man Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. Paul Rodgers is a fine singer, but Queen featuring Paul Rodgers was bad company. The original lead singer of Queen was the late Freddie Mercury, only someone as flamboyant, energetic and gifted as Freddie should be allowed to fill his shoes.
Adam Lambert is a unique and talented performer, and he may probably want to establish his own identity. But he shouldn`t rule out touring with Queen for a few months. Queen fans are very loyal, and if Lambert establishes a partnership with Queen he will gain many new fans.
Lambert obviously enjoyed performing with Queen on the American Idol stage, let`s hope he does at least a few shows with Queen.
