Brit Rupert Everett Calls King Of Pop A "Freak"

Brit Rupert Everett Calls King Of Pop A "Freak"

By Robert Paul Reyes

"British actor Rupert Everett apparently hasn`t heard the old maxim about not speaking ill of the deceased, telling the British newspaper The Mirror that the King of Pop is probably better off dead.

`He was a freak,` Everett said. "He looked like a character from `Shrek.` He was a black to white minstrel. He was crucified by that court case when he was accused of child molestation - that killed him." (Everett knows "Shrek" well: he voiced the character of Prince Charming in the second and third films.)"

Genius is manifest in great works of art, but sometimes it also expresses itself in freakish behavior. By any standard, by any measure Michael Jackson was a musical genius, but he was also a deeply troubled human being whose obsession with plastic surgery rendered him a physical freak.

A cynic or a wise guy will only see the sometimes bizarre appearance of the King of Pop, but a music lover will remember the great songs and performances that changed the world an touched millions of lives.

Unlike Everett, I remember Michael Jackson the greatest entertainer in history, and Michael Jackson the philanthropist who gave millions to charitable organizations.

Who the hell is Rupert Everett anyway? Pop culture is my forte, but I had to look him up in Wikipedia. I also did an image search of the British actor, and I must say that he looks pretty freaky himself.

Michael Jackson is not bettor off dead, he was on the verge of a comeback tour, and I`m persuaded that he had another "Thriller" in him.

Rupert Everett, just shut the heck up! You`re not have the man that Michael Jackson was and forevermore will be!
