Boy George Must Still Be On Drugs: Writes Song About Amy Winehouse

"In an item really better suited for Hot Mess News Daily, Boy George has written a song about Amy Winehouse. The ex-Culture Club lead singer told NME that he composed the song during the four months he served in prison for assaulting and falsely imprisoning a man earlier this year.

The song, which is titled, "Your Pain Makes a Beautiful Sound," features the lyrics: "You`re a genius, you`re a car crash/It`s hard to say what you do best."

Amy Winehouse has inspired thousands of bloggers and entertainment journalists to write essays about her, almost all of the articles are very critical of the celeb trainwreck.

Boy George is the first singer who has been inspired to pen a song about the troubled singer. Maybe the eccentric Boy George feels a kinship with a kindred spirit, and he wrote a song in praise of the drug-addled chanteuse.

But judging from the lyric quoted by Prefixmag.Com the playful Boy George penned a tongue-in-cheek ode to the controversial artist.

Boy George has a way with words, it`s certainly difficult to say what Winehouse does best: Be an entertainer or a drug addict.

We haven`t heard from Boy George in a while, hopefully this new song will put him back on the musical map.
