"Move over Madge there`s a new Louis Vuitton model in town.
Yes that`s right, Madonna, who has been the face of the brand for two years, has been replaced by pretty (not to mention younger) gapped tooth model Lara Stone." Read More
Madonna is a pop icon, and nobody complains when she graces the cover of Rolling Stone. Madonna may no longer have much of an impact in the music industry, but she`s a legend who`s still selling out venues all over the world.
But I do have a problem with a 51-year old woman with wrinkled hands and a blotchy face being a model for a designer label. I`m thrilled that Louis Vuitton kicked Madge to the curb, and replaced her with a prettier and much younger model.
Madonna is a gazillionaire, and she didn`t need the income from her modeling gig. Laura Stone is the genuine article, and modeling is her livelihood.
Young people, especially women, look up to Madonna as a music and cultural icon, but i`m sure they had a hard time accepting Madge as a fashion model.
Don`t shed any tears for the Queen of Pop, her photoshopped image still appears in hundreds of magazines and Web sites.
