Washed-Up Singer Vanessa Carlton: I'm A Proud Bisexual Woman
"Apparently, Vanessa Carlton has kissed a girl and she liked it: The pop singer recently revealed that she is bisexual. Carlton broke the news at a Nashville Pride event, where she was headlining on Saturday.
`I`ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman,` the singer announced, according to USMagazine.com." Read More
With celeb girl-on-girl kissing a raging epidemic, and a starlet or pop diva coming out as lesbian or bi every other day, it`s no longer necessary for a famous woman to announce that she`s bi in such a grandiose manner.
With hardcore porn easily accessible, everyone (male and female) has caught girl-on-girl fever, and there`s nothing courageous about a female celeb coming out of the closet.
"I am a proud bisexual woman" Pleeeaze! That`s as silly as declaring, "I`m a proud left-handed person," There is no stigma attached to being a bisexual woman, in fact coming out the closet is a sure-fire way for a has-been or a never-was to curry favor with the lipstick-lesbian loving public.
Everyone (gay, straight or bi) should be proud of who they are, but for a female celeb to think she`s a civil-rights heroine because she`s come out of the closet is patently ridiculous.
I`m a proud heterosexual male, and I don`t expect praise for making that statement. OK, so Vanessa Carlton is bi, big deal!
Carlton hasn`t had a hit since 2002`s "A Thousand Miles", when she has another hit then she will really have something to be proud about.
