Oprah Winfrey's Ratings Hit All-Time Low! Oprah Is History!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"`The Oprah Winfrey Show` sunk to an all-time low in the most recent ratings report, falling below the 3.0 mark for the first time in the show`s history.

oprah winfreyThe syndicated program averaged 3.8 million viewers for the week of June 28.

Now, there`s some mitigating circumstances, but nothing that Winfrey hasn`t faced before over the years. The show was repeats leading up to a holiday."

Oprah Winfrey choose an excellent time to quit, she`s tanking in the ratings. Oprah`s marketing team bills her as the "Queen of Daytime TV, but the truth is that Judge Judy trounces her in the ratings.

Judge Judy is superior to Oprah Winfrey in every way imaginable: She`s prettier, she has a more engaging personality and she doesn`t think she`s the Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.

When Oprah Winfrey`s show was broadcast nationally in 1986 there weren`t that many African American personalities on network TV, and watching the Oprah show was a way for women from Middle America to show they weren`t racists.

Blacks are well represented on network TV, and we don`t need the likes of Oprah Winfrey anymore. Oprah will have little to no impact on society when she launches her own cable network next year.

My prediction is that Oprah will come out of the closet once she moves to cable. Oprah has been living a lie all these years, she doesn`t have the guts to admit she`s a lesbian. Oprah would have done wonders for the cause of equal rights for gays and lesbians if she had declared that she`s a lesbian at the height of her fame.

Disclosure: I don`t have any proof that Oprah is a lesbian, but come on people, it`s obvious. Let me stress that there`s nothing wrong with being a lesbian, I have been a strong supporter of gay rights for decades.

Oprah will always be a gazillionaire, but she`s gone from Queen of Daytime TV, to being the owner of an obscure cable TV network with a niche audience of Oprahphiles.
