OMG! Electric Light Orchestra Member Crushed By Giant Bale Of Hay

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A giant bale of hay has killed a founding member of the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) band after it tumbled down a hill and crashed into his van.

Cellist Mike Edwards, 62, died after the 600 kg (1,323 lb) bale rolled down a steep field in Devon, southern England, smashed through a hedge and careered on to the road.

He died instantly in the freak accident on Friday afternoon."

Everybody wants to die peacefully while they are sleeping, or heroically while saving someone`s life.

Nobody, absolutely nobody, imagines that they will be crushed to death by a giant bale of hay that is tumbling down a hill.

Mike Edwards made some great music with the Electric Light Orchestra. But now when I hear an ELO song on the radio, I won`t be moved by their grand symphonic sound, instead I will be reminded that life is a farce and that there`s a giant bale of hay waiting for each one of us.
