Joel Osteen Tells His Church to Stop Eating Bacon

Joel Osteen Tells His Church to Stop Eating Bacon

By Rocco Loosbrock

Recently, I came across a youtube.com video of Pastor Joel Osteen while searching for bacon videos.  I was curious so I watched the video.  He tells his Christian audience that the bible teaches us not eat pork, you know bacon because pigs are unclean animals.  Now Joel has admitted he isn`t much of a biblical scholar, funny because the bible also talks about how we should be separated from women during their menstrual cycle because they are unclean.

I think before Joel Osteen try`s to tell Texans and pork eating Americans like me that we should stop eating bacon because he feels that will help me become a "better me" he should do a little more research.  What a joke!   Can you believe that he eats turkey bacon because he thinks it`s better for him? I guess he missed the recent episode of Oprah where Dr. Oz explains that regular pork bacon is better for us than Turkey Bacon (in fact they say that Turkey Bacon is like a hot dog - all the bad parts goes into making the bacon)!  I think he should stick to things he understands - the bible and bacon aren`t it.

You know what is the worst thing?  He says in the video that he can`t even tell the difference anymore between regular bacon and turkey bacon - I guess he has never has real bacon like the kind available at www.Baconfreak.com
