Judyth Piazza chats with Wayne Gilpin, President of Future Horizons

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

We became the leading publisher in the world of autism/Asperger`s primarily because my son, Alex, was diagnosed with autism.  This event led me to write a charming little book, "Laughing and Loving with Autism", as I tried to show the world some of the positives and joys that a child with autism can bring.  Soon other authors were bringing their books to us in numbers so large, that in a short time we stopped publishing in all other venues and focused in this field.  For the first time in my life I was blessed, in that my vocation and passion were blended.  Alex`s perspectives constantly led me to redefine my language and outlook.

Our children, students, and friends with autism and Asperger`s bring new meanings to our lives.  I hope our books, videos and conferences assist you in bringing a better future to your horizon.

The oldest of nine children, Wayne Gilpin believes that his most important accomplishment is being the father to three terrific children, Jennifer, Alex and Katherine. President of Future Horizons and author of several books, Mr. Gilpin has also been a Keynote speaker at the ASA National Conference, the International Congress on Autism in Australia, the Texas Education conference on Autism 2005, as well as numerous other speaking engagements.

Most recently Mr. Gilpin has been invited to be the Keynote speaker at the International Congress on Autism 2006 in South Africa.
