Women's Hands Crawling With Bacteria

Women's Hands Crawling With Bacteria

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Wash your hands, folks, especially you ladies. A new study found that women have a greater variety of bacteria on their hands than men do. And everybody has more types of bacteria than the researchers expected to find.

The average hand harbored 150 species of bacteria."

Guys get a bad rap for being slovenly and dirty, but it turns out that the ladies are the ones who need to wash their hands more often.

It`s scary to find out that our hands are hosts to so many bacteria, considering that are hands often come in contact with our mouths. This study should challenge us to wash our hands as often as someone who suffers from an obsessive-compulsive order.

Shaking hands is a filthy custom that is responsible for spreading many diseases. Public health departments and public schools should warn of the dangers of this filthy and unsanitary practice. I get angry when some schmuck offers me his hand in greeting, he might as well spit on my face as a way of salutation.

"While the researchers stressed the importance of regular hand washing, they also noted that washing did not eliminate bacteria."

Even if the guy offering to shake your hand is a neatness freak, you should still fear any contact with him because washing does not eliminate all bacteria.

This study will make me even more reluctant to shake hands with guys, but truth be told even if I knew that an attractive lady had millions of germs living on her hands, I wouldn`t hesitate to shake.
