Eating More Often Helps You To Lose Weight

They say that Breakfast is the key to starting your day.  This is true, because it sets your metabolism for the day.  What I have found that really works for speeding up your eating smaller portions at least 6 times a day.  With this key to a healthier way of eating, it actually helps you to shed pounds because your body burns more and sets itself to use more energy. 

From someone who has been diagnosed with Hypoglycemia, that is, needing to eat more sugar along with protein every 3 hours...I was told by a Nutritionist that if you eat snacks every 2-3 hours daily (Breakfast, snack, Lunch, snack, dinner, snack), this plan will help the body to not take in more than it needs.  When you eat too much when you are hungry, you basically are overeating and so your body stores too much. 

With smaller portions (of healthier snacks if possible "such as things higher in protein, more grains than saturated fats and also, fruits and vegetables), more frequently, your metabolism will think that it needs to burn carbs faster, though it will make your body expect food more often.  In this lies the key to a successful, higher metabolism.  I have practiced this for 6 years, and people constantly ask me what I do.  I hope this health tip helps!
