It's Krissy, from Brady Magazine. I am in need of a Part-time Marketing Intern for Brady Magazine. Do you know of any students who would be interested in the position?
The position is unpaid, but college credit is available. The Marketing Intern would be responsible for the following:
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for researching the following information for Brady Magazine's writing forum:
- calls for submissions
- writing jobs
- writing contests
- writing resources and opportunities
- free articles that we can post on our 'The Written Word' section
The calls for submissions, writing jobs, writing contests, and writing resources can all be posted in our writing forum, and the articles can be forwarded to me, who will then add them to the website.
In addition to the market research, we need our Marketing Intern to research publishing companies, literary publications, and other writing-related companies, and send each new contact a personal e-mail, inviting them to check out our website and what it has to offer their businesses, as well as writers. We also need our Marketing Intern to research writers, and invite them to the website as well, letting them know all that we have to offer.
This is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week), and all that is needed is an Internet connection and self-motivation. Experience in marketing would be great, but it isn't necessary, as long as they have some familiarity with the writing industry itself.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in this position, they can forward their resume to me at email@example.com, along with any ideas they have that will help boost Brady Magazine's website content and the opportunities we want to offer to writers. This position is also available for as long as they would like it, as long as they give us prior notice before they are to leave and move on to other projects.
Thanks so much! I look foward to hearing from you.
