It's Krissy, from Brady Magazine. I am in need of a Part-time Marketing Intern for Brady Magazine. Do you know of any students who would be interested in the position? The position is unpaid, but college credit is available. The Marketing Intern would be responsible for the following:  Market Research
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for researching the following information for Brady Magazine's writing forum: - calls for submissions
- writing jobs
- writing contests
- writing resources and opportunities
- free articles that we can post on our 'The Written Word' section
The calls for submissions, writing jobs, writing contests, and writing resources can all be posted in our writing forum, and the articles can be forwarded to me, who will then add them to the website. PR Work
In addition to the market research, we need our Marketing Intern to research publishing companies, literary publications, and other writing-related companies, and send each new contact a personal e-mail, inviting them to check out our website and what it has to offer their businesses, as well as writers. We also need our Marketing Intern to research writers, and invite them to the website as well, letting them know all that we have to offer. This is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week), and all that is needed is an Internet connection and self-motivation. Experience in marketing would be great, but it isn't necessary, as long as they have some familiarity with the writing industry itself.
