Judyth Piazza chats with Candice Cain, Editor-in Chief of Teen Trend Magazine

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Candice Cain is the Editor-in-Chief of Teen Trend Magazine. She has a BA in Dramatic Literature from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, as well as some Masters credits from University of Alaska " Anchorage and University of Phoenix. Candice has extensive experience in writing, marketing and public relations, and is a published playwright with Baker`s Plays of Boston.

Candice is the creator of Teen Trend Magazine. She developed the concept with her husband, Craig, and mother, Juliette, as a wholesome alternative to teen magazines that focus more on a teenager`s appearance rather than the whole individual. Her work as an instructor for children and teens inspired her to create a magazine that provides guidance to young people and help them develop their individuality. The first issue of Teen Trend was published in April of 2006.

Candice is extremely family-oriented, and tends to lean Teen Trend toward conservative, family values. She and her sister, Julienne, are very close. Since she and her sister were raised by their mother alone since the age of eight, they have an extraordinarily tight relationship with her. Candice currently lives with her husband, Chihuahua and three cats in Middle Island, NY.
