What is the Media's State of Security?
In this technological age of rampant cyber attacks, data hacks and transient transitions of websites from good to bad at a moment`s notice, how protected are members of the press and how does it affect their ability to deliver the news?
More than 40,000 new viruses and other malicious content circulate around the world every day. The most damaging and widespread of these attacks - which can cause billions of dollars in losses - are well documented by media organizations like yours. But how vulnerable is the press itself? How well are your personal devices and network protected?
The Security Economics Institute of the Business Performance Management (BPM) Forum, in association with AVG Technologies, a global anti-virus and security software provider, invites you to participate in a quick 10-minute survey (http://www.protectthepress.com/audit) to help answer that question. Once we have compiled the results, we`ll share our findings with you. Your individual responses will be kept strictly confidential.
In addition, we are offering all respondents the opportunity to improve their cyber-security by receiving free security software. (http://www.protectthepress.com/software/index.html)
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
