FL Student Threatens to Shoot Muslim Classmate
(ST. PETERSBURG, FL, 11/12/07) On Monday, November 12, the Tampa chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Tampa) will hold a news conference with the parents of a sixth-grade Muslim girl who was allegedly assaulted last week at a St. Petersburg middle school by another student who later threatened to “bring a gun to school” and shoot her.
CAIR-Tampa will call on the school district to investigate the alleged shooting threat and assault and to explain why school officials have not taken appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all students at the school.
