Washington D.C. Shame, Shame, Shame on You!

Washington D.C. Shame, Shame, Shame on You!

By Askin Ozcan (Mentor)

We learned from Robert Paul Reyes` article Bus Ads Proclaim: Why Believe In God? that Washington, D.C. public buses will carry ads reading: "Why believe in God?

Be good for the sake of goodness!"

This will cost Washington, D.C. $40,000 and the reason is to scare away the poor and the uneducated from the religious charlatans.

If one`s own intellect, The Bible or The Quran isn`t sufficient and since we are sure there is a God (for those in doubt, please refer to "Small Miracles" by Askin Ozcan - ISBN 1598001000 Outskirts Press.

This kind of campaign is not a clever one.

It would have been better to scare away the religious charlatans or use the money to meet the basic needs of the poor and the uneducated for "the sake of goodness".
