Another CIMIC Project Completed
A Handover Commission arrived to Sumer in the morning hours. Their goal was to test the container and all its key elements. CIMIC experts placed the main emphasis on the quality of workmanship and proper operating of all devices. The generator, water pump and air conditioning were carefully checked during a regular use.
CIMIC specialist for archeological matters Lukasz Olecki photographed every single detail of the container. With the help of translator Elias Mardini, he discussed his conclusions with the commander of Archaeological Police in AL QUADSIYAH Province, COL Latiff Jabar Khatim. Chief of CIMIC group, LTC Andrzej Kujawa sad: “All work had been done at the highest level. The delivered equipment is brand new and of very good quality. The Handover Commission did not have any remarks or reservations.”
After finishing the handing over process everybody agreed that it’s an invaluable purchase of the Guard of Antiques in the city of Sumer. The new office-living container provides a proper working condition in specific Iraqi climate, so guardians will be able to operate much more easy and effective.
