Platinum Ice Records is proud to announce the launch of their new label and Production Company with a number of outstanding projects, and the debut release from Cheraw, SC native Jay Harris aka "The Bossfather."  Not only is the Bossfather finishing up his new album, but he just completed a track with Wu-Tang members Masta Killa and Cappadonna.

First up for Platinum Ice, are appearances by Platinum Ice 25 time multi-platinum producer/co-owner Easy Mo Bee and artist/owner AB Money on the much-anticipated Wu-Tang Clan reunion project, The 8 Diagrams coming on Dec. 11 via SRC Records/Universal.  Easy Mo Bee and AB Money’s stellar history features albums they produced and performed on for Tupac Shakur, Notorious BIG as well as co-writing, performing and producing all tracks on jazz great Miles Davis' CD Doo-Bop released by Warner Brothers in 1992.

Platinum Ice has also entered into a joint venture/stock swap with hip-hop fashion line Sedgwick & Cedar to collaborate on various projects including new music and a film about the birth of hip-hop. The clothing company that pays homage to the pioneers of hip-hop is worn by celebrities and hip-hop fans everywhere. Jay "The Bossfather" as well as Grandmaster Caz and Melle Mel are contributing tracks to the film's soundtrack which will be released by Platinum Ice.

Also scheduled to appear on the soundtrack are legendary superstars like Busta Rhymes, Alicia Keys, DJ Scratch, the Wu-Tang Clan and other stellar artists.

Jay Harris, "The Bossfather" also collaborated on the recently released soundtrack to the hit film American Gangster with Frank Lucas Jr.   His tracks have received thousands of spins in the USA and worldwide on stations like 5FM in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as video airplay on "The Player" shown on MTV Africa.

Along with "The Bossfather,"  Platinum Ice will release new projects from R&B artist Tiger who opened a run of shows for Maroon 5 in 2007 as well as Dizzy Gillespie relative Ms. Quick who is slated to open for Prince in 2008.
