Owner/Producer/Rapper, Easy Mo Bee and AB Money visit the pioneers of
Hip-Hop at the weekly show running through July.  Pioneer Coke La Rock says "Not only am I down with it, but I love Platinum Ice Records. ?
Some of the pioneers of hip-hop reunited for a major outdoor jam in Crotona Park running weekly throughout July, in the Bronx NY.  Platinum Ice Records owner and 25 time multi-platinum and Grammy winning producer Easy Mo Bee rejoined his old hip-hop pals along with Platinum Ice Records co-owners AB Money, Tom Simjian, Tom Simjian Jr., Casey Hoban, Joey Suppa, DJ Wes Money and New Haven`s  own XL.
Appearing at the hip-hop jam in Crotona Park were the "Father" of hip-hop DJ Cool Herc, Toni Tone, DJ Holiday, Coke La Rock, DJ Scratch, Imperial JC and Grandmaster Caz (aka the Casanova Fly), one of hip-hop`s first major DJs and member of the Cold Crush Brothers, heralding back to 1974.  Grand Master Caz, one of hip-hop`s greatest founders also MC`ed the jams. Others appearing at the weekly jams this year were Popmaster Fabel from the Rock Steady Crew and DJ Jazz Joyce from the legendary HOT 97 in New York City.
The festivities also included Kool DJ Red Alert (KISS-FM), DJ Steve Dee, Rockin` Rob from Mean Machine, DJ Cash Money, the inventor of scratch Grandwizzard Theodore, Jazzy Jay with T La Rock, DJ Lord Finesse (DITC), Mix Master Ice (U.T.F.O.), MC Pebblee Poo, DJ Imperial Jaycee.  One of hip-hop`s most famous photographers, Joe Conzo, captured the weekly jams for history and brought the Platinum Ice Records crew together with the artists on film.
For Easy Mo Bee and Platinum Ice Records, the event was a way of connecting the future with the past.  Platinum Ice Records is currently involved in a number of projects that tap deeply into the hip-hop archives and its beginnings.  Along with the chart climbing success of The Bossfather`s national radio single Bad Chick Whippin` ? and the upcoming Easy Mo Bee produced project from Ms. Quick, Platinum Ice Records is not only releasing new music that defines the future of hip hop, but they are paying respect to the creators of the genre.
Along with the joint venture between the popular Sedgwick & Cedar Fashion Line/Sedgwick & Cedar Records and Platinum Ice Records the two companies are putting together a soundtrack and film about the birth of hip-hop and the history of Sedgwick & Cedar.  The soundtrack is in the fine hands of Easy Mo Bee and will feature artists like Platinum Ice`s own The Bossfather and Ms. Quick along with Alicia Keys, Jay Z, Snoop, Wu-Tang Clan, T-Pain and many others.  Platinum Ice Records/Sedgwick & Cedar Records will also drop a special joint holiday release to launch Sedgwick & Cedar Records.
