For Easy Mo Bee and Platinum Ice Records, the event was a way of connecting the future with the past.  Platinum Ice Records is currently involved in a number of projects that tap deeply into the hip-hop archives and its beginnings.  Along with the chart climbing success of The Bossfather`s national radio single Bad Chick Whippin` ? and the upcoming Easy Mo Bee produced project from Ms. Quick, Platinum Ice Records is not only releasing new music that defines the future of hip hop, but they are paying respect to the creators of the genre.

Along with the joint venture between the popular Sedgwick & Cedar Fashion Line/Sedgwick & Cedar Records and Platinum Ice Records the two companies are putting together a soundtrack and film about the birth of hip-hop and the history of Sedgwick & Cedar.  The soundtrack is in the fine hands of Easy Mo Bee and will feature artists like Platinum Ice`s own The Bossfather and Ms. Quick along with Alicia Keys, Jay Z, Snoop, Wu-Tang Clan, T-Pain and many others.  Platinum Ice Records/Sedgwick & Cedar Records will also drop a special joint holiday release to launch Sedgwick & Cedar Records.
