DIY NETWORK GIVES COUNTRY MUSIC SENSATION TRACE ADKINS SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT IN A NEW EPISODE OF INDOORS OUT ?  PREMIERING NOVEMBER 24 AT 10pm ET

All New Episode of Primetime Series Provides Unique Look at Adkins` Family Farmstead

When cowboys like Trace Adkins, country music`s Alpha Male, ? get the renovation blues, DIY Network is there to help! In an all-new episode of DIY Network`s Indoors Out, hosts Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns pay a visit to Adkins` family farmstead (located just outside Nashville, Tenn.) to create a rustic outdoor kitchen. Premiering Monday, Nov. 24 at 10 p.m. ET, DIY`s special half-hour episode of Indoors Out documents the build and offers a sneak peek at his no-frills rural hideaway.

"This property is like a personal retreat and it`s always been therapeutic to come out here and work hard and be completely exhausted at the end of the day, ? said Adkins. I`ve also been a longtime fan of DIY, so I was really excited about getting down and dirty with their team to build this new outdoor kitchen that my family will enjoy for years to come."

For several years, Adkins has spent many hours converting what was once an old dairy farm into a park-like sanctuary. After coming off the road, he heads straight to the farm whenever he can for backbreaking labor planting trees, cutting grass and chopping wood.  Adding to his hard work and to the natural beauty of the land, Marsico and Stearns set out to make sure that Adkins` outdoor kitchen blends well with its surroundings. The rustic outdoor kitchen is completed with a patio, retaining wall, dining area and fireplace.  For full function, the kitchen now features lines of electrical power, natural gas and running water flowing in the built-in soapstone sink, as well as a custom-built rustic wooden dining table, chairs, fireside sofa and coffee table. The finished product is a kitchen truly worthy of a country legend!

On Tuesday Nov. 25, Adkins will release TRACE ADKINS X ? (TEN), his tenth album for Capitol Records Nashville.  He will also be featured in an upcoming special, Trace Adkins: X (Ten) Days at 9 p.m. ET on DIY`s sister station, GAC (Great American Country), followed by an encore presentation of DIY`s special half-hour episode of Indoors Out featuring Adkins at 10 p.m. ET. The DIY episode will also air on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

An esteemed member of the Grand Ole Opry, Adkins has built a solid 12-year career full of chart-topping hits, numerous national TV appearances and highly successful tours. Earlier this year, the multi-platinum country star became an even bigger household name thanks to his strong showing on NBC`s hit reality series, The Celebrity Apprentice. Adkins was one of 14 celebrity contestants competing and ultimately became one of the show`s two finalists. Adkins is presently appearing on the big screen in David Zucker`s new satirical comedy An American Carol.

Indoors Out, which premiered in April 2008 and airs regularly on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET, expands a home`s square footage by creating outdoor living spaces " one of the hottest areas in home improvement. From fire pits to outdoor kitchens to patios and decks, Marsico, Stearns and their large crew of contractors, build unique, functional, and eye-popping spaces, expanding the living area of a house into the great outdoors. Marsico and Stearns, real-life cousins and stone masons, are also hosts of DIY`s popular series, Rock Solid, which airs on DIY every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
