Everyone Hates Octomom
"It seems so long ago now, but for just a day or two last month Nadya Suleman was known as Miracle Mom, the amazing woman who gave birth to the longest-surviving set of octuplets.
But in short order the public learned that Miracle Mom was also Single Mom, Unemployed Mom and Welfare Mom. And as fast as you could Twitter "I hate Nadya Suleman," scores of Web sites were dedicated to denouncing the so-called Octomom, others to making fun of her, a rap music video lampooned her ("pops `em out like a toaster/needs a pacifier holster") and angry citizens threatened to kill her publicists."

Every person in the news, even bimbos like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have their fans and admirers. But Nadya Suleman (Octomom) is almost universally despised, I`ve yet to hear a person come to her defense. I hate everything about her, from her bulging lips to her out-of-control irresponsibility and selfishness.
Octomom enjoyed a day or two of public love and concern, but now she is condemned to a lifetime of ridicule and criticism. An army of public relations experts can`t salvage her reputation; a tearful sit-down with Oprah won`t do her any good.
If I condemn Roland Burris, the political hack who refuses to resign from the Senate there are bound to be one or two misguided souls who will come to his defense. I`ve written a couple of essays blasting Octomom, and I haven`t received a single email telling me to take it easy on her.
We need heroes like Sully, the brave captain who skillfully landed his crippled plane on the Hudson without serious injury to crew or passengers. But we also need villains like Octomom to make us feel better about ourselves. I may have wasted a small fortune in Las Vegas, but that doesn`t compare to Octomom`s irresponsibility and selfishness in spending thousands on plastic surgery when she had six hungry kids at home.
Octomom may be evil and despicable, but she`s exactly what America needs at this critical juncture in our history: A uniter, not a divider. Octomom has brought our country together: Red states and blue states are united in their hatred of Octomom.
Octomom the Mother of all Villains, what would we do without her?
