Mayor Of San Francisco Should Declare War On Homeless

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Unhappy meals have arrived at a McDonald`s in San Francisco.

Homeless people who hang out at the nearby Golden Gate Park used to get 99-cent burgers at the McDonald`s located at Haight and Stanyan streets in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

But the eatery got rid of its Dollar Menu about a month ago. That move, which McDonald`s called a simple business decision, means items on the menu are now too expensive for the people who spend much of their day hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant.

Items on the Dollar Menu now cost around $1.50."

I was born and raised in San Francisco, the most beautiful city in the world. You will find few residents of the City by the Bay wax poetically about the plight of the homeless. The vast majority of homeless are bums, alcoholics and drug addicts who choose to live on the streets. They brazenly defecate and urinate in public, safe in the knowledge that the city won`t move against them for political reasons.

The mayor of San Francisco should order the sanitation department toss the homeless in garbage trucks, and use them as landfill.

Those of you who have never lived in a big city are unaware that homeless persons reeking of urine and feces will nonchalantly walk into a fast food joint ruining the dining experience for everyone. They can`t be kicked out, because that would be discrimination.

It`s about time that the McDonald`s near the infestation of homeless raised their prices to discourage these bums from entering the Golden Arches.

The homeless are grumbling and complaining about McDonald`s raising their prices -- tough luck. If they are hungry they can fashion themselves a meal from the nearest dumpster.
