Japan's First Lady: My Soul Rode On A UFO To Venus

Japan`s next prime minister might be nicknamed "the alien," but it`s his wife who claims to have had a close encounter with another world.

`While my body was asleep, I think my soul rode on a triangular-shaped UFO and went to Venus,` Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of premier-in-waiting Yukio Hatoyama, wrote in a book published last year.

`It was a very beautiful place and it was really green.` Reuters

The prime minister is nicknamed "the alien" for his prominent eyes, I guess political correctness is not as well entrenched in Japan as it is in the United States.

In the old days when sanity prevailed, people kept their dreams and hallucinations to themselves. But now folks are anxious to tell the media about being abducted by aliens and visiting other planets. It`s hard to find a British tabloid that doesn`t contain a few articles about UFO sightings.

The only weapon that intelligent people have left is ridicule, we must show no mercy on these UFO obsessed nuts. If an American politician`s spouse claimed to have taken a trip to Venus, I would demand that he repudiate his wife`s foolishness.

UFO tomfoolery has no place in an enlightened and civilized society. If a prominent politician claims to have seen a UFO, he should be ridiculed and condemned until he resigns from office in disgrace.
