Chicago Cubs Employee In Hot Water For Picking Up Cat By Tail
"In the wake of `The Great Wrigley Field Cat Tail Grabbing of 2009,` one thing is certain: People have pretty strong opinions about cats.
In case you missed it, a speckled feline ran onto the field at a Cubs game Tuesday night and -- after a comical chase -- was unceremoniously hoisted by its tail and lowered into the stands by a security guard." http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/chi-talk_wrigley_catapr23,0,7693489.story
The Cubs employee who mishandled the cat didn`t realize that he was grabbing a tiger by the tail. The animal abuser will need a security escort the next time he shows up at Wrigley Field.
The physical well being of a cat is more important than a baseball game, especially a Chicago Cubs baseball game. The antics of the pussy cat are a lot more entertaining than the hapless Chicago Cubs.
The security guard should have waited until the cat left the field, under no circumstances should anyone pick up a cat by the tail. There`s more than one way to skin a cat, an there`s more than one way to get a cat off the field.
Animal lovers should boycott the Chicago Cubs until the guard is either fired or picked up by his cojones and tossed into the stands.
The cat was taken to a vet and he appears to be in good health.
