The Moment

The Moment

By Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo

The moment has come again,
where 'accident' will be the song of the day.
The moment; November, December, January.
Human dead bodies will be the common flesh around.
God why?
Many children have become orphans because of 'the
moment'.
The moment, this is your turn,
where the word 'goodbye' is hardly said with the fear
that it might be for good.

October 28, 8:00 am (local time) I heard of the fatal
accident with 40 deaths on the spot and only 9
survive who are still unconcious including an eight
months old child.
I said to myself, This is the Moment.

I know life is a drama, played on this stage, the
Earth.
People come and play their part then leave the stage
while others leave before it's their turn.
No matter, some are done, and some are not given the
opportunity to play their role.
But one thing, I know is sure, nobody owns the stage.

Among the 4o corpses, were ten top-known attorneys of
the country coming back after paying their last
respects to their friend.
This period, 'The Moment' is know as the time when
people seek for sacrificial lamb to please the gods
for the end of year.
Yes, I understand: End of Year, End of Life.
