Sometimes Sweet Words

Sometimes Sweet Words

By Deremiah *CPE (Mentor/Columnist)

Sometimes sweet words
bring tears of joy.
smiling hearts move with
laughter.
what an amazing thing you've done,
inside my alabaster.

Flower gardens bloom,
where dangers yellowed gloom.
Pretty petunias smiling with me,
fill up my empty room.
where chairs and couch never speak,
four walls stand in corners still.
but now you've spoken, broken,
Silence what a sound.
shattered by sweet words
that nothing can keep down.
Cause sweetness is the cure
to every ill & dis-eases
while love makes the heart grow
fond of happiness that pleases
Sometimes sweet words
bring tears of joy I hear them wow, Oh Jesus!
Now the curtain rods are dancing,
and the lights are singing songs.
Window paynes reflecting
Sunrises, Nights are gone.
See what you've done,
and yes you're all to blame
it's amazing what sweet words can do
when you call their name.
