Loving White Winter

Loving White Winter

By Deremiah *CPE (Mentor/Columnist)

Snow flying flurries

Flake, Floating furious-ly,

Pounding the earth softly.

Run to my window,

Look cannot see,

Gilded frost snowy,

White as can be,

Reflecting from me.

Bull dozers bangin',

Blow snower's clangin'.

Window seals tight,

Fireplace night.

Outside it's pitch black,

But still floating white.

Powder puffs, poof

Snow dust my roof,

Angels hair…… neatly everywhere

From my chimney tops glide glitter,

It's a snow angel's winter.

I can view, edge's new,

Crisp as a snowflake

Can't keep awake

Sleep falls from the sky.

Soon I'll be kissing

Snow winter good-bye.

What a wonder on

A starry night,

She's so white my love.

And I'm in love with winter.
