You Will

You Will

By Deremiah *CPE (Mentor/Columnist)

the beach edge along the shore lines
I saw you strolling there,
Wind blowing waves rolling
a cast of heart you care.
For the young you've mentored
their names upon the sand,
like stars there glittered time
slipping through your hands.
smiles like sunsets glistening
it's early morning now
there you stand thinking upon the beachhead
you will make it somehow.
You will, I know you will
you will make it somehow
others are listening to your words
you will make it somehow.
You're still walking now
across the grassy knoll,
your feet take countless steps
but the powers in your soul.
Out of your shoes you slide
to feel the silky sand.
What a way to live
knowing the future's in your hands.
it's wonderful you don't have to
carry this all alone.
suddenly the wind stops
and all your fears are gone.
Friends gather like sunlight gleeming
it's early noon day now
there you stand thinking upon the beach
I will make it somehow.
And you will, I know you will
you will make it somehow
others are listening to your words
you will make it somehow.
It's late the suns setting
Pink sky's, cheery violets, smiling purples
amongst a happy robust gray
there all in the horizon
a mist the rain a spray
words hidden inside your heart
I gently hear them say
Today my dreams arise
nothing stands in my way.
The people all surround you
they hold you around the earth
there is a suttle tremble
a passionate rebirth
and now
right now
there's LIFE
it's coming forth
it's up to you, it's up to me
It travels from South to North
Your dream is happening
it's coming true right now,
there you stand thinking upon the beach
you have made it somehow.
