Oh Girl

Oh Girl

By David Richardson

Oh girl, oh girl,

where is it that you came from?

No, no, no, I don’t even care,

I just want some.

I see your lips drip

and I so badly want a sip;

and your sparkling eyes

make me want to tell so many lies.

I’m heartbroken, I’m heartbroken.

All the forgotten books that I have read,

and all the sad poems that I now dread

could never replace

all the words that you have said.

I’m so heartbroken.
