Girl of Wari (Old Dhaka)

Girl of Wari (Old Dhaka)

By Md Mahmudul Hasan, Immigration Lawyer, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Under a moon-lit night,
When I was crossing  your house,
Suddenly a leave of sunflower touched me ,
It was just a sensation which gave me a smiley fascination.

Looking behind the mango tree,
When I saw your lip,
It was just a sensation ,
Which can never be forgotten.

When you call me to ask my name,
Looking to me with a romantic smile,
I was in that world,
Which you only occupied..

Your hair was so long,
Like the hair of my dream fairy,
I cannot express the beauty of it,
It was just a sensation and fascination.

Where are the ghosts?
Who are our enemies,
We will defeat them,
By the the power of our love.

Who say, whatever is said
Our Love will win,
Defeating the bar,
Of all ghosts of Wari.
