People Call Me Poet

                                                           People call me poet,

But I do not know poetry,

What is the introspect of poetry?

Still it is untouchable to me.

I know that I am a simple person,

Having no knowledge of anything,

My mind is completely illiterate,

This is undeniably true, which I always admit.

I am always foolish from my childhood,

This is the real truth,

Ninety eight percent Bengali words regarding foolish,

Which already have been used on me.

When I was a school student

I could not speak properly,

Stammering problem for Bengali words were so severe,

This pressed me to learn English for smooth fluency.

I always love my mother language,

But I can not speak properly for stammering,

So, I always prefer English,

To get smooth fluency.

In my school life,

I was not a good student,

Teachers expected good result from me,

But I failed to gift them that.

Taking a great sensation,

I took admission in college,

This life was so sophisticated,

But I learnt a lot from that.

Suddenly I fell in love of a girl,

But I was not mirthfully accepted,

That girl gave me a nice answer,

Be wife of other.

Being depressed and sensitized,

I took admission in University,

It was a nice life,

I learnt a lot from it.

Law is a complicated subject,

But I enjoyed it,

My lawyer father made it easy,

By his wisdom and depth of knowledge on it.

During the time of my University life,

Again I fell in love,

That girl was really artful,

Kept relations with many others.

Passing many sensitive barriers,

Now I am fully determined,

I will work for the people,

Life will be dedicated for the mankind.

Now I always proceed to forward,

Taking affection of God,

One day I will be the President of my State,

That is my great motto.
