Obama Wan Kenobi, we need your help

Obama Wan Kenobi, we need your help

By Nancy Lee Wolfe (HR Development/Content Manager)

Barack Obama is marching across America gathering every demographic since demographics were born.  It seems everyone loves Obama Wan Kenobi.  "Change they can believe in", they say.

Now, Obama Wan Kenobi, you must help Hillary.  A&E TV would call it an Intervention.  If you and Hillary are friends, you must help her through this crisis.  The first step for Hillary is acceptance.

Obama Wan Kenobi, you must pull Hillary out of denial and set her back on the path of reality.  As she and Bill did for Chelsea, you must talk to her as hatefully as possible-- until she cries, in fact.  She and Bill appreciate this form of training.  It will toughen her up, you see.

Once Hillary is crying, Obama Wan Kenobi, you must deprogram her from the delusion that she could ever win the Oval Office.  You must take her all the way back to that day when she strolled across the library and said, “If you’re going to keep looking at me, and I’m going to keep looking at you, at least we should know each other’s names.” Oh, rue the day-- the day she met Bill Clinton.

Hillary is going to have difficulty accepting the fact that she is not heir to the White House throne.  The Lincoln Bedroom is forever gone as her guest quarters and perk provider.  She is going to exhibit signs of withdrawal, possibly seizures, when you confront her with the numbers.  Her dreams of making history as the first woman president, first First Lady President are gone now.

Obama Wan Kenobi, help Hillary.  She can still make a valuable contribution here and there.  Just help her get through this process of accepting things as they are... not as she wishes they could be.

Obama Wan Kenobi, simply tell Hillary, “Your tomorrow was yesterday.”  She can handle the disappointment.  You can do it Obama Wan Kenobi, we know you can.

I’m Nancy Lee Wolfe and I approve this message.
