Chelsea Clinton Is Just Like Hillary Clinton

Chelsea Clinton Is Just Like Hillary Clinton

By Robert Paul Reyes

If Hillary is the evil Queen who ran into a stumbling block called the democratic process on her way to her coronation, Chelsea is the haughty princess who has a hard time dealing with commoners as she tries to convince them that her royal highness is not a monster.

Chelsea brushed off a 9-year-old reporter on the campaign trail with a terse, "I don't talk to reporters."

Why does the press let her get away with her disdainful attitude? If she refuses to answer questions from the press, we shouldn't cover her appearances on behalf of her Mom.

Chelsea isn't a vestal virgin; she's not off limits, by putting herself in the spotlight she is open to criticism, analysis and yes, questions from the press.

Chelsea's reprehensible treatment of the child reporter was not an aberration, she routinely treats the media and regular people with scorn.

At a campaign stop in Indianapolis, an audience member asked Chelsea if the Monica Lewinsky scandal damaged her mother´s credibility. She responded, "Wow, you're the first person actually that´s ever asked me that question in the, I don´t know maybe, 70 college campuses I've now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business."

The guy asked a legitimate question; how can we take Hillary seriously when she represents herself as a feminist icon when she behaved like a doormat when her hubby cheated on her with Monica Lewinsky?

Chelsea would be a better ambassador for her mother, if she did away with the sarcasm and answered questions in a humble manner.

If Chelsea can't stand the heat she should get out of the kitchen. Her mother isn't Mother Teresa and her father isn't a Boy Scout -- she should be prepared for tough questions about her notorious parents.
