Obama offends faith and pro-life activists
West Chester, PA-- The faith and pro-life activists will be speaking out against Mr. Obama's radical pro-abortion policies and his recent comments that a single young woman having a baby would punish her.
Senator Obama stated over the weekend, when speculating if his daughters became pregnant, "But if they made a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."
The demonstration will be on Wednesday, April 2, at 3:30 P.M. outside of the Hollinger Field House on the campus of West Chester University.
The Field House is located at South Church Street and University Ave. in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, comments, "Senator Obama talks about bringing change to America. However, when it comes to his policies on abortion he is strictly 'old school.' Every recent poll shows that America's emerging generation is embracing a culture of life and desires and end to the violence that has resulted in the deaths of over 50,000,000 innocent children and wounded so many women. Sadly, Mr. Obama continues to show he is out of touch with America by supporting Partial-birth abortion, tax payer funding of abortion and opposing the Born Alive Infant Protection Act that would save children born from late-term abortions.
Recently Senator Obama showed how thoughtless, insensitive and harsh he is on the subject of abortion by saying that young single women would be 'punished' if they had a baby. To Senator Obama we invite you to step out of the past and into the present where children are welcomed, blessed and cherished."
Kaitlin Clare, Program Director for the Christian Defense Coalition, adds, "As a young, professional woman Senator Obama's outrageous views on abortion are both disturbing and offensive to me. His inability to value life in its most innocent and vulnerable form and his support of policies that endorse violence towards women are saddening."
