Obamanuer: Are we falling for it?

Obamanuer: Are we falling for it?

By Nancy Lee Wolfe (HR Development/Content Manager)

"They`re going to try to make you afraid of me: He`s young and inexperienced and he`s got a funny name. And did I mention he`s black?"

Should we fear Obama?

Senator Barack Obama, June 2008

Having been called everything from Messiah to radical to rock star, Obama strolled across the world stage last week with a stride that suggested his ascension to the Oval Office is a foregone conclusion.  In many circles, the dominant debate centers around whether the inexperienced Senator from Illinois is Christ or Antichrist.  Silly notions prevail, of course; however, in the words of Mika Brzezinski, the Obama camp has taken serious steps toward "creating an image" of Obama-- an interesting choice of phrase.

Other than endless photo ops with world leaders, what did Obama hope to accomplish by courting the world?  Frankly, it is his vision of "one world" that most concerns the silent majority.  It is not that Obama is too young, too inexperienced or has a funny name.  It`s not even connected to the fact that he is black because, in truth, he is as much black as he is white, right?

Consequently, Obama`s having suggested that voters will be given cause to fear him may well be the first time fear of him entered the mind of the average voter.  Now, however, having introduced the concept, some voters may react just as they did when the word homophobia entered the public lexicon.  Pity.

However, now that Obama has introduced this element of fear, his motives are subject to scrutiny on every front.  Perhaps the most serious area of concern is his belief that he can bring peace and security to the Middle East.

Historically speaking, the conflict between the Arabs and the Jews is traced through the ages.  Likely, there were only two times Abraham ever listened to his wife, Sarah.  The first was when Sarah suggested he procreate with her young, Egyptian handmaiden, Hagar, with whom Abraham fathered Ishmael who is universally accepted as the father of the Arab nation.  The second time Abraham listened to Sarah was after their son, Isaac, was born and Sarah insisted that Hagar and her son, Ishmael, be banished from their midst.

Thus was born the eternal animosity between the Arabs and the Jews.

Fast-forward to Obama who shuffled on over to create an image of himself as president and of the United States uniting with Europe to bring peace and security to Israel and the world.  A very tall order, indeed.

The Obama drama has at its core the determination to dance America into a position which emulates the image of Europe.  Serious students of Bible prophesy are reeling with the speed in which events foretold more than 2,000 years ago are coming to pass.

Senator Obama has made no secret of his world view and he will only expand his efforts if elected to the presidency.  If the US is to have free education, free health care, free legal services, free child care, taxes must skyrocket.  There is no other answer, is there?

Obamanuer will take America down the road to full-blown socialism.  For all intents and purposes, an Obama administration may be just the ticket to usher in the last world empire about which Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed.  The one of a statue whose feet are portrayed as iron, the European Union, mixed with clay, the United States.

Even so, will America fall for Obamanuer?
