Bill Clinton Heaps Praise On McCain And Palin

By Robert Paul Reyes

John McCain has run the sleaziest and dirtiest presidential campaign in recent history, even Karl Rove has rebuked McCain for his dishonest commercials. That`s like Mike Tyson rebuking a boxer for unsportsmanship like conduct in the ring.

Every Democrat worth his salt has condemned McCain for his despicable campaign tactics, but Bill Clinton has nothing but love for the Republican presidential candidate. Slick Willy even had kind words for the woefully unqualified and inexperienced Sarah Palin.

"ABC News` Nitya Venkataraman Reports: Former President Bill Clinton defended Sen. John McCain`s request to delay the first presidential debate, saying McCain did it in "good faith" and pushed organizers to reserve time for economy talk during the debate if the Friday plans move forward."

Only Republicans and Democrats bearing a grudge against Barack Obama can`t see that McCain`s plea to delay the debate is a desperate stunt. I don`t think it`s a coincidence that McCain pulled this trick out of his hat at the same time that his poll numbers are falling like a rock.

Clinton`s support of Obama has been lukewarm at best, he needs to "move on" and accept the fact that Hillary lost the election. Instead of trying to get even with Obama, he should do what is best for the country and enthusiastically support the Democratic presidential candidate.

The Clintons should stop scheming to defeat Obama, so that Hillary can run for president again in four years.

The Palin/McCain campaign is a train wreck, and Obama will win in a landslide. Hillary Clinton had her chance to be president and she blew it. After eight years of an Obama administration, Hillary will be too old to be president.
