Even Sarah Palin Is Disgusted With John McCain's Use Of Robo Calls

By Robert Paul Reyes

When Sarah Palin speaks extemporaneously it seems like the Pentecostal hottie is speaking in tongues. I keep waiting for someone in the audience to stand up and interpret her utterance.

Palin makes a modicum of sense only when she is reading from a teleprompter or reciting talking points. When she`s off script she looks like a moose caught in her husbands snow mobile headlights.

Palin comes to life when she is smearing Barack Obama with outrageous lies. Her eyes light when she accuses Obama of "palling around with terrorists." Palin is such a ruthless campaigner that she makes Attila the Hun look like a wimp.

But even Palin is disgusted by the McCain camp`s use of robo calls.

"Here`s what Palin said in Colorado last night: `If I called all the shots, and if I could wave a magic wand, I would be sitting at a kitchen table with more and more Americans, talking to them about our plan to get the economy back on track and winning the war and not having to rely on the old conventional ways of campaigning that includes those robocalls.`"

Trail Blazers Blog/Todd J. Gillman

This may be the only time that Palin made sense when she wasn`t reading from a script. I commend Palin for denouncing robo calls, no campaign should rely on this despicable tactic. Here`s a link to an article that I wrote that explains McCain`s use of robo calls in detail:

I wish Palin would talk about the economy, and refrain from bashing Obama. If Palin really wants to change the tone of the campaign, she can start by sticking to the issues.

Obama was delighted with Palin`s condemnation of robo calls:

"Obama blasted the other side for negative campaigning, using Gov. Sarah Palin`s statement yesterday - distancing herself from the flood of robocalls the McCain operation and the RNC have poured on battleground voters, trying to link Obama to Vietnam-era radical William Ayers.

`It`s getting so bad that even Sen. McCain`s running mate denounced his tactics last night. You know, you really have to work hard to violate Gov. Palin`s standards on negative campaigning. You gotta work hard,` Obama told the crowd of about 8,000 in Tampa. `He`s on the attack. That`s what you do when you`re out of touch, out of ideas and running out of time.`"

Americans are disgusted with robo calls, and we need to send John McCain a clear message that we won`t put up with gutter politics by voting for Obama/Biden.
