Tina Fey Says No Way to Sarah Palin

Tina Fey Says No Way to Sarah Palin

By Robert Paul Reyes

Since John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his running mate in late August, the airhead governor of Alaska has captivated the media. In the last couple of months I have written more articles about Palin than McCain and Obama combined.

Palin has been a big boost to the late night comics, she provides endless fodder for jokes. Jay Leno, David Letterman and the rest of the late night hosts are probably in mourning.

But nobody should be more grateful to Palin than the "Saturday Night Live" crew, she has resurrected a moribund show. But all good things must come to an end, and Tina Fey announced that she will no longer impersonate Sarah Palin.

The press should follow Fey`s example and stop obsessing over the former beauty queen.

My name is Robert and I am fixated with Sarah Palin. It`s been two days since I wrote a Palin editorial. I`m taking it one day at a time; my goal is to never write about her again. With the help of a higher power and shock therapy I`m confident of overcoming my Palin addiction.
