The Only Thing Sarah Palin Has Going For Her Is Her Good Looks

The Only Thing Sarah Palin Has Going For Her Is Her Good Looks

By Robert Paul Reyes

Sarah Palin is a major force in the GOP despite not having a sterling resume, eloquence, experience or gravitas. In fact she`s a blundering idiot.

Palin couldn`t stand the heat, and she quit her job as governor of Alaska. A male governor who quit under similar circumstances wouldn`t stand a snowball`s chance in hell of being regarded as a possible presidential candidate. But diva Palin is already being touted by conservative Republicans as the future of their party.

Why is Palin considered a viable candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential candidate? Even for a political party in complete disarray, Palin should be a persona non-grata.

Palin is a legitimate presidential hopeful only because she`s hot. My apologies to Hillary Clinton, but Palin is the first female candidate for president or vice-president with sex appeal. During the 2008 presidential campaign, we asked ourselves who would we most want to have a beer with Obama or McCain? But when Palin came on the scene, we wondered how many beers would we have to buy her before she`d agree to come home with us.

When the Palin/McCain ticket went down in flames, the diva missed out on the only chance she had of becoming president. Palin is 45, and she will be 49 for the next presidential campaign -- too old to be considered good-looking.

In our youth culture very few women in their forties still turn heads, Palin is lucky that she`s still considered attractive. Palin won`t be hot stuff next go-around, and her presidential campaign won`t get off the ground.

Please don`t bother sending me any emails accusing me of being a male chauvinist pig, I`m just telling you the way things are in this country.

The Republican Party has many experienced and knowledgeable female office holders who are well-versed on the issues. The GOP should promote these credible female stars, and stop obsessing over Palin.
