Horrorific Film Debut for Judyth Piazza
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Radio Talk Show Host Judyth Piazza Horrorified
Hollywood is a long way from Vero Beach, Florida, but for respected journalist Judyth Piazza, the gap between the two just became a lot smaller. Piazza, CEO and editor of The Student Operated Press and host of the weekly radio show The American Perspective, will make her big screen debut in Horrorween. She will be playing a radio talk show host and journalist.
Slated for an October 2007 release, Horrorween is a horror-comedy by Ed Meyer, who takes the helm for the first time after over 30 years of behind-the-scenes production experience. The film tells the story of two high school-aged brothers who make their entire family millionaires after they accidentally develop an internet browser that does not crash (!)
The brothers’ inadvertent discovery inspires a Hong Kong company to manufacture a black market version of Microsoft Windows called “Chindows,” and the Dot-Com dollars roll-in. But when the boys’ wacky family begins to flaunt their new-found wealth by building the ultimate haunted house, things start to go awry. Soon, telling a trick from a treat is a little too hard for comfort.
Horrorween stars Chuck Lamb, aka “The Dead Body Guy,” as seen on NBC’s Today show. With a host of actors and comedians in supporting roles, and an impressive buzz already building, Horrorween promises to be the must-see flick for Halloween 2007. Piazza spoke with Meyer in-depth regarding Horrorween on The American Perspective. The interview can be heard over at the Student Operated Press’ website (www.thesop.org). Additional information about the movie is available at www.horrorween.com.
