NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, a profoundly disturbing dark comedy

By Anne Laszlo Howard

What Neighborhood Watch, a film by Graeme Whifler

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, a profoundly disturbing dark comedy that makes David Lynch look like Mary Poppins.

Written and directed by Graeme Whifler, NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH is the touching story of a newly married young man trying to police his neighborhood from an outbreak of perverted sex.

Graeme Whifler

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH a feature film directorial debut for Graeme Whifler who first gained notoriety collaborating with the avant-garde San Francisco recording group, The Residents, as in-house rock video cinematographer, writer, producer, and director. Inducted into the permanent of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, the videos were heralded as “a tour de force of short filmmaking hilarious, often stunning and usually twisted… adventures into the subconscious (which) appeal to people with a taste of the bizarre”.
