Acclaimed Wild West Artists Giving Free Show

Acclaimed Wild West Artists Giving Free Show

By SOP newswire

Two rising western entertainers are in the valley of the sun to give a free showing of how the west was won, if you practiced a lot!

Will Roberts is the Will Rogers of the modern age. Throwing his ropes loops around stage with ease as he jokes about life, politics, people, and of course, the old west. He is considered the best embodiment of the old Will by the Roger's family themselves and he tours with his "Good Will Tour" nationally and internationally. Roberts has a long list of television and theatre performances, and is now teaming up with his close friend and fellow partner, Joey Dillon in the mission to keep the romance of the old west alive.

Dillon is a three time World Champion Six-gun Spinner and entertainer. He performs a variety of twirls, juggles, trick firing, history as well as humor.  He has been named by True West Magazine, Larry Zeug (amoror and gunsmith of the movie Tombstone), and old time cowboy actors, as the best gun handler that has ever been seen before. A few films, magazines, celebrities like Kevin Costner, and television shows such as The History Channel, Biography Channel, and Discovery Channel, have used Dillon’s talents, either as a gun coach, on screen expert, or actor. Joey also tours internationally. A modern day fulltime gunslinger. That is a job title that is hard to beat, in more ways then one.

Both these cowboys have teamed up and pooled their resources in a combined show called "Spin Doctors." Besides spinning ropes and guns, they put a modern spin on the country we live in, what is going on in the world today and of course, the old west. They will also be performing original cowboy music, quick draws, stunt fighting, and last but most important, why it is so important to carry on the arts of the old west.

See ya there!

Date:    Feb. 3 2007
Time:   6 p.m.
Place:   North Hills Church, Main Auditorium
           15025 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85023

Event:   North Hills Church has donated the use of their auditorium as a gift to the community, but it is to be stressed that although the show is very family friendly, this is not an evangelical or pro church specific event. The church location has a 1500 seat state of the art theatre and is a perfect venue for the show.
